Essaic Tea Recipe

Preparing Essiac Tea
  1. Bring two (2) gallons of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Stir in one (1) cup of Essiac dry tea formula. Replace lid and continue boiling for 10 minutes. Mix Essiac formula thoroughly. 
  3. Turn off stove. Scrape down sides and stir mixture.
  4. Replace lid and allow pot to remain closed for 12 hours.
  5. Turn stove to full heat for 20 minutes.
  6. Strain liquid into another stainless steel pot or bowl.
  7. Pour hot liquid into quart canning jars. Tighten caps. When cool, tighten again and place in refrigerator. If mold develops, discard immediately. (Canning allows for making several gallons at a time.)
